My name is Virginia Bauer and the reason I started this blog is because I am a pastor and our church’s creative web-designer suggested this was a good idea. I trust Mark, so now I’m blogging. Here is a little about me:
· I am a co-pastor with the love-of-my-life, Wayne, my husband of almost 25 years.
· I’m a mother of three which keeps me busy planning a wedding with my daughter, visiting colleges with my high-school son, and going to Pop Warner football games to see my middle-school son block and tackle.
· I’m a part-time accountant who has spent over 20 years in the fascinating world of taxes. By the way, as a Rev. and accountant, I can help you out with life’s two biggies: death and taxes. J
· I’m a charter-member of Faith Community Church in north St. Johns County, Florida and I have the high privilege of walking out this journey of faith with some of the most genuine and compassionate Christ-followers I have ever known.
· I’m a wife, mother, pastor and accountant all rolled up into one forty-something-bundle who never had an interest in sky diving, bungee jumping, or spelunking. i.e., I’ve never been a thrill seeker. But long ago, I set my heart on being a wholehearted follower of Jesus Christ and I’ve been on an exciting and challenging adventure ever since.
